Kathrine R Mitchell is a New York City based Lighting Designer who is particularly passionate about musical theatre, opera, and dance.

She loves variety in her work and collaborating with other artists.  New York City credits include Butyou’reaman at the NYC Fringe Festival, The Cherry Orchard and Playboy of the West Indies at NYU, and several pieces for Tisch Dance. Other lighting designs include Dial M for Murder for Curtain Call Theatre in Albany; Avenue Q, Greater Tuna, November, and The Last Night of Ballyhoo for Oklahoma CityRep; Frankenstein and Jacob Marley’s A Christmas Carol for OCTC; Sweeney Todd, Les Contes d’ Hoffman, Pagliacci, and The Mother of Us All for Oklahoma Opera & Music Theatre Company. Film credits include AlphaThe Schvitzing, For Ella with Love, and Knock, Knock.
