Proudly from Seattle, with a bachelor’s degree from Whitman College, Devin is a scenic designer and performance creator.
Over the years he has worked in theater as an actor, improviser, stagehand, stage-manager, carpenter, painter, electrician, props artisan, and director, but he found that design is where his love of collaboration and interest in visual storytelling are most fulfilled. Now based in NYC, he designs for theater, opera, and dance with particular interest in work which is emotionally engaging and psychologically complex. Favorite projects include Buried Child (Tisch, 2016), Smudge (Washington Ensemble Theatre, 2013), and Ukelele! A Variety Show (Whitman College, 2013) MFA: NYU Tisch.
